Acreage Contract, non-GMO Soybean Premium Program

As a grower within 100 miles of Gibson City, IL we would like to connect you to a new competitive acreage contract program in your area. Benson Hill, a business focused on delivering superior seeds including the eMerge Genetics portfolio of non-GMO soybean varieties, is looking for growers willing to plant their high oleic non-GMO soybeans for the 2020/21 growing season. 
 
Mercaris is working with Benson Hill to identify interested growers and are seeking growers with the ability to grow 150 acres or more of non-GMO eMerge soybeans for the upcoming growing season.

Interested growers must meet the following criteria:

  • Located within 100 miles of Gibson City, IL
  • A minimum of 250 acres available to be contracted for non-GMO soybeans in 2021
  • On-farm storage capacity

Contract highlights:

  • Full production, Act of God, acreage contract 
  • Non-GMO – eMerge variety-specific (maturity zones 1.2 – 4.8) 
  • Buyer’s call AND Harvest, elevator movement (some freight allowances given)
  • +$2.40 over Jan ’22 CBOT, delivered (13 seed varietals included)
  • +$3.50 over Jan '22 CBOT for seed varietals N2358 nd E42P713, with a yield-based performance warranty
  • On-farm storage premium beginning Jan ’22 at $0.06 per bushel per month
